Read to your Newborn

When you read to your newborn (which I have done) wonderful things happen! It sharpens up their brain activity and works their vision. They also enjoy this extra time with you, hearing your voice while you are reading, and looking at the colorful pictures in the childrens picture book you are reading to them. For a wonderful and unique childrens picture book, please visit http://www.pamthedog.com/ By the time your child is a toddler, they will adore books and might even try to read along with you. A bedtime story at night will be something your child will always look forward to as well. Time passes quickly and all of a sudden it will be time to start school and go to kindergarten. You will see that they now have an advantage because they have been looking at books since they were born. They will be an avid reader and this will enhance all the other subjects they will be studying while they go through school.
The best teaching needs to take place during childhood to build a strong foundation that will carry them through junior high, high school, college, possibly graduate school, and then through their chosen life's work. Reading is most definitely the foundation of a child's educational house. It is also the key that unlocks educational treasure. Happy reading!
